Thank you!
We at GRR just wanted to send a big thank you out to all of our supporters in Gainesville and elsewhere. By attending our events and supporting us through donations and merch sales you are helping us get started and build our league. We are currently in the process of incorporating as a non-profit for the state of Florida. After that, we plan to fully become a 501(c)3 non-profit organization . Unfortunately all of this takes a lot of time (and a lot of money!) so thank you all for being patient and helping us out along the way!
Also, as many of you know, we are in the planning stages for our first home bout in July. This bout will be at the Alachua County Fairgrounds and will provide us the opportunity to show everyone in Gainesville how hard we have been working over the last few months.
Finally, We also want to thank all of the newbies who came to our meet-and-greet last week. We are growing quickly as a league and are already preparing for next season! This year, because it was our first bouting season, we have a relatively light bout load. Next year, however, get ready for lots of GRR action! We will be bouting across the state of Florida (and perhaps elsewhere!) and inviting travel teams to Gainesville to get some GRR love (and bruises!).
