Wig Out! (with mustaches) Pub Crawl

Its time for another pub crawl!
Our theme is Wig Out! (with mustaches)

When: Friday, February 10th, starting at 8pm

Where: GRR Supporter, Bobby K’s house – 417 SW 2nd Street 32601
Then crawl with us to the following bars: Double Down, Tall Paul’s, Loosey’s Longshot, The Midnight, and The Palomino, where we be joining them for their dance party!

Cost: $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
Pay in advance through your favorite derby girl OR you can Paypal the money to this email: Sponsorships@gainesvillerollerrebels.com
Just be sure to include your name, phone number, and money for Wig Out! Pub Crawl.

Each person is guaranteed 7 drinks (21 and up only)

Raffle to Benefit GRR’s Injured Skater Fund, Sunday, October 23 at the Thunder City Derby Sirens Home Bout!

During our bout Sunday, October 23rd bout vs. Thunder City Derby Sirens, GRR will have a fundraiser for GRR’s Injured Skater Fund. These funds go to help our players get back on their “skates” after serious injuries on the track. This first drawing will go to help the Jamburglar, who during our home bout on Aug. 20th, sustained a serious injury.

Through the generous donations from our sponsors, local businesses and GRR’s own skaters, we have come up with some really great prize packages. Each raffle tickets gives you a chance to win one of eight prizes!

We’ll also have special edition Jamburglar fan t-shirts at our merch booth. These will be very limited, so make sure you grab one before they’re gone!

Tickets can be purchase on Saturday, October 22 at our booth during the Gainesville Pride Festival or on Sunday, October 23 at our bout. For more information, click on this link: GRR Injured Skater Fund Raffle

Wed., 7/27: Ice Cream & Derby Dreams!

On Wednesday, July 27, beginning at 5 p.m., GRR is taking over Sweet Dreams Ice Cream! Help us raise money for our upcoming trip to Charlotte and enjoy the best ice cream in town at the same time, as a portion of proceeds from Sweet Dreams’ most popular menu items will go to us. We’ll also have merchandise and a donation box set up during this times.

Break out the mustaches and hot pants for GRR’s “Mustaches and Hot Pants” Pub Crawl!

Have a blast and help get GRR to Charlotte, N.C., to kick more derby ass at the same time! Pay just $20 cash at the door of the Palomino and you’re guaranteed at least seven drinks throughout the evening.

The crawl begins at 7 p.m. at Palomino Pool Hall and carries on to five different downtown locales: The Midnight, Tall Paul’s Brew House, Durty Nelly’s Irish Pub, Spin Cycle On Tap and the coal-fired forge studio of GRR member and area sculptor Leslie Tharp. See you there, Gainesville!

RIDIN’ DIRTY? GRR CAN HELP!

Come by Coffee Culture (2020 NW 13th St.) on Saturday, May 15, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and get your car washed by the Gainesville Roller Rebels! Suggested donation per vehicle is $5.

Proceeds from this event will go directly to GRR to help pay for away game travel as well as the entry fee for Sunshine Skate, the annual Florida state roller derby championship, to be held
Dec. 4-5, 2010.
