All I can say is wow. Sunday night in Fort Myers there is nothing to do. Heard the announcement on the radio on my way home from the beach Roller Derby tonight in Fort Myers. Thought gotta check this out. The derby wasn’t as action as the Roller Derby on TV from many years ago. (Most of that was just show for ratings). Both teams kicked AZZ. The ladies on both teams were really into the bout. It turned out to be an exciting night! There was great blocking, a lot of spills and thrills, a few penalties (would have likes to see a few more penalties). Both teams did keep it clean. The bout was held on a flat rink. It looks like its harder to have the bout on the flat rink. The ladies did a great job of entertaining the crowd. There was fun for the whole family. To me it looked like everyone left happy. Who would have thought there was something to do on a Sunday night in Fort Myers.
Now for the men fans or fans to be Dam both teams did have a lot of HOT Ladies on their teams. By the way anyone know who the Gainesville Roller Rebel # 111 is? She has brunette hair and dark eyes. She is smoking hot. Has a great smile. There was a tailgate party going on before the bout. They were giving out free refills on beer. They even had an after party at Stevie Tomato’s Sports Page. What more can you ask for on a Sunday night? I’m not really a sports person but the roller girls have turned me into a Roller Derby fan. Let’ s hope more people find out about Roller Derby again.

    Cheers

    Hi Tom!

Glad you enjoyed the bout. While GRR doesn’t field a skater with #111, Ft. Myers definitely does–and her skate name is Jamsterella. Visit them online at https://fortmyersderbygirls.com/.

Thanks for checking out the derbs, and hope to see you at another event soon!

    Hugs ‘n’ stitches!
    Ms. Rebel
