Bread of the Mighty Food Bank acquires, stores, and distributes food and basic essentials making it available to other non-profit programs that provide for the needy.
Alachua County Conservation Trust
Act has been working since 1988 to protect, conserve and celebrate North Central Florida. ACT engages with the community through environmental educations programs, and finding innovative ways for people to explore wild spaces, Act continues to be a leader in the fight for conservation.
Human Rights Coalition
The Human Rights Coalition of Alachua County (HRC) was formed in 2017 as a group of community activists and organizers who were committed to local, tangible solutions to creating immigrant safety. Since merging with the RWHP in July 2024, the social justice division focuses on strengthening communities’ capacity to overcome social justice barriers through legal and know-your-rights education workshops, accompaniment and tangible services, such as the HRC Community ID and legal navigation services.
Pride Community Center of North Central Florida
The Pride Community Center of North Central Florida(PCCNCF) is a safe space for the LGBTQ+ Community in North Central Florida. Their mission is to foster and enhance the well being and visibility of transgender, bisexual, lesbian, gay, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQ+) persons, and to promote public understanding and affirmation of people of all gender expressions and sexual orientations, inclusive of race, ethnic background, nationality, economic stability, spirituality, age, and ability.
