We welcome any individuals over 18 to signup for our Fall New Skater Program! No derby experience needed and no gear required. We offer skate and pads rentals with an optional deposit ($25 for pads, $50 for skates) to take the gear home, which will be refunded at the end of the class.
The New Skater Program is a gateway to join the Gainesville Roller Rebels as a skater or an official. Learn an overview of roller derby from the ground up, including basic skating skills like stops and crossovers and derby skills like tripods and hip checks.
