A Saturday bout?! YOU HEARD RIGHT, FOLKS! The claws come out on Saturday, March 13, as GRR takes on the Tallahassee Rollergirls’ Jailbreak Betties, on a mission to recover from their loss to GRR at the end of the 2009 season.

Alachua Co. Fairgrounds’ (2900 NE 39th Ave.) doors open at 6:45 and the bout begins at 7:30. The venue does not have seating, so bring your own chair or picnic blanket; track-side (aka rink floor) seating available for 18-and-up.

UPDATE: NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED WITHIN THE BUILDING. Concessions will be available. (Note: Bring cash for concessions and cool GRR merchandise like tees, tanks, totes and more!)

As part of GRR’s pledge to give back to the community, in conjunction with this bout GRR is hosting the LIFESOUTH Bloodmobile, which will open at 6:30 p.m. to make sure no donor has to miss a minute of the action. BONUS: The first 10 on-site blood donors get into the bout free!
